Yuga Labs confirms theft of 200 ETH worth of NFTs
Yuga Labs, the company behind the Bored Ape NFT collection, announced that 200 ETH worth of NFTs have been stolen.
According to Yuga Labs, the Bored Ape Yacht Club Discord server was recently hacked and the attacker confiscated 200 ETH (about $360,000) worth of NFT.
The attack took place immediately after hacking the Discord account of Boris Vagner, the project’s community manager, and the attacker launched phishing attacks on both the Bored Ape channel and the Discord Channel from Otherside through.
News of the attack was first circulated by Twitter user NFtherder. Aside from the stolen NFTs, an estimated 145 other ETH were stolen and transferred to four different wallets.

Yuga Labs said it was investigating the incident shortly afterwards and confirmed that the attack took place have. The company’s announcement came 11 hours after NFtherder tweeted.
Discord hack is not a first for Yuga Labs. The first attack occurred on April 1st when Mutant Ape Yacht Club #8662 NFT was stolen. On April 25, Bored Ape’s Instagram and Discord accounts were hacked.
