Opera announces private crypto browser
Yes, you read that right. Considering the recently popular cryptocurrency Blockchain and Web3, Opera felt the need to create a custom browser for it.
Opera Crypto Browser Launched
Opera has announced that its crypto browser is designed to work with A multitude of decentralized applications and crypto say it offers deeper integration with their wallets. Opera has so far integrated multiple blockchains including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Celo and Nervos to help build the ecosystem. The company also announced partnerships with Handshake, NEAR, Polygon and Solana.
A notable feature of the browser is that it has a native crypto wallet. This allows you to log into dApps or access your cryptocurrency through the browser without having to install an additional browser extension. It also includes a wallet selector tool for 3rd party wallets like Opera, Metamask.

Opera’s free built-in VPN and ad and tracker blocker will also be available in this crypto browser. There’s even a secure clipboard, ensuring no third-party apps change your wallet address or access sensitive data. Specifically, Opera says it will soon open source the browser and wallet.
