SEGA is now announcing Mega Drive Mini 2
SEGA launched its first mini-console, the SEGA Mega Drive Mini, in 2019, bringing a pleasant nostalgia to gamers with 40 games inside. Then we saw the SEGA Genesis Mini. Now SEGA Mega Drive Mini 2 has been announced, which comes with 50 installed games from the SEGA CD and SEGA Genesis era.
Among the games that will be installed on the console there are names like Popful Mail, Shining Force CD, Silpheed, Sonic the Hedgehog CD, Virtua Racing. The games also include the Fantasy Zone port, which was not released on the original console.
Mega Drive Mini 2 will be released in Japan on October 27th with a retail price of $75. Unfortunately for us it is tragic that a low price of $75 can exceed 1200 lire with our money, even excluding taxes and shipping.
It is not yet clear when the console will appear in western markets.
