Tether has been expanding USDT’s network reach over the past few weeks. Aside from Tezos, USDT can be used on Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, Algorand, Tron, Omni, EOS, Liquid Network, Kusama, and Bitcoin Cash’s Standard Ledger Protocol.

Tether said that the launch of USDT on Tezos will help the blockchain network’s DeFi ecosystem. “Several major projects have been launched at Tezos, including those in the fashion, music, gaming and art industries,” Tether told The Block.
